Objectives
To improve information for passengers using the Metropolitan Line and assist them in making the quickest and most convenient journey possible. We also had the challenge of increasing the type size to 12pt to comply with RNIB guide lines, whilst at the same time reducing print costs.

Results
We dispensed with full timetable information and moved to to frequency tables, introduced clearer connection information and redesigned the route map to show average journey times between stops. The “frequency table” has since become a standard for TfL information products.
